My first build, setting the mechanics in the fuselage and I need to extend the main rotor and I need some advice on the linkage. It will need to be lengthened as well. What is the best practice? Thank you

That link is on the wrong side of the swashplate, flip it to the left side so Align is upright and readable.

Has anyone had to modify the main rotor shaft and linkage for the scale build? I need a taller main rotor shaft and longer linkage. If anyone knows where I can get them or any other ideas? Thanks

I have a couple of Align main shafts left over that I had made for a 206 project. Send me a picture or measurements of your shaft including the machined shaft if possible. These are 10mm diameter.

What mechanics are you using Ed?
Building bell 206 using the align 800 mechanics setting the mechanics on the wood frame, the tail rotor is about 1/2 - 5/8 " to high. So I have the doors cut out of the fuselage on my Jet Ranger 206, I left about 1/4" of material all around the opening and obviously the doors will not set flush with the fuselage. I used a small dremal tool with sanding drum and removed material from around the door to make it fit flush with the fuselage. The doors are usually pretty thick.

That's what I thought, I found the same thing with the widows. I opted to put the windows on the inside for the best fit. Thank you for the reply back, much appreciated.
New to the scale builds, any advice on cutting out the windows and doors? what tools work best, I have a dremel.

Dremel is the best! I like a thin cut wheel. I get close to the edge but leave the rest for sanding block. WEAR A MASK. Also helpful to have a vacuum running with the hose close to suck what you can out of the air. It's a mess.
